CEO attends London International Shipping Week Conference 2017 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London

Coltraco’s CEO Carl Hunter continues his engagement during LISW by attending the official Conference today and had the opportunity to meet fellow industry figureheads as well as take a moment to meet leading BBC journalist John Humphrys who acted as moderator (picture sitting).

The Welcome address was led by the Rt Hon Liam Fox MP, Secretary of State for International Trade (pictured standing), who inspired us at Coltraco at the beginning of this year by announcing “2017: The Year of Exporting”.

Mr Hunter also met with the IMO Secretary-General, Kitack Lim, who delivered the second Keynote Address. Mr Lim also spoke at the Safety At Sea Award dinner the previous night which was attended by Coltraco’s Director of Sales and Head of Marketing & Communications who enjoyed hearing Mr Lim declaring his appreciation to the “kind and devoted” contribution of those in the industry delivering safety. His key message drew on the audience to improve “communication and collaboration to promote safety.”
